building a beautiful and bountiful world in collaboration with nature

Integrative awareness is the experience of the left brain listening to the right brain, of the brain entraining to the heart, of the body becoming the mind that it is.  This website is about using gardening as a tool to develop integrative awareness, and then using integrative awareness to develop a garden – or a home, or a farm, or a village, or anything else that human beings want to create.

Did you know that 60% of the cells in your heart are neural cells?  Those are the same kind of cells that make up your brain.   Meaning your heart is more like a brain than it is like a pump.  Your heart also generates an electromagnetic field that is 5,000 times stronger than the EM field generated by your brain.  5,000 times!

Your heart is both an electromagnetic transmitter and receiver.  It is one of the main organs picking up information about the world around you.  You use your heart to feel the “vibes”.  Everyday.  All the time.  When the brain entrains (i.e. pulses in sync) with the rhythm of the heart, our bodies grow stronger.  When our heart tries to entrain to the signals sent out by the brain, our bodies grow weaker.  There is wisdom, deep wisdom in the heart.

As for me, I’m Renee Wade.  I have degrees and certificates in ecological agriculture, ecological horticulture and permaculture design as well as 30 years of on the ground experience.  I am fascinated by quantum physics and by the stars in the sky.  I live in the beautiful, Sierra foothills of Nevada County, California.  I am available as a garden or farm consultant, and permaculture designer.
